Browser Command Center is designed to work locally in the user's browser.
Data collection
Browser Command Center does not collect, sell, transmit, or share personal data. It does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, remote tracking, or a developer-operated server.
Permissions and local data
- Tabs: used to list, activate, organize, mute, pin, duplicate, close, discard, and save the user's open tabs.
- Sessions: used only when the user chooses “Reopen last closed tab.”
- Storage: used to save workspaces, recent commands, and onboarding state locally in Chrome extension storage.
- Clipboard write: used only when the user explicitly chooses a command that copies one or more tab URLs.
Saved workspaces remain in Chrome's local extension storage on the user's device. Removing the extension may remove this locally stored extension data.
Browsing history
No browsing-history database is created by the extension. It only works with tabs currently exposed to the extension while it is running.
